THE CHALLENGE

When Digicall Assist became an independent company in 2013, all the corporate functions they’d been used to were no longer available, including legal support. As a mid-sized and fast-growing B2B business, getting the right legal support at a cost-effective price point was critical.

Digicall Assist needed a legal partner that could provide a diverse range of legal services and advice, with speed, accuracy and reliability. They didn’t want someone that felt distant, was slow, or not commercially savvy.

The question was, how best to do that?

THE OPTIONS

Option 1: Hire a General Counsel.
Option 2: Engage a law firm when needed.

Each option had different pros and cons, but both had one thing in common: It was an expensive proposition.

Then Digicall Assist discovered an alternative. For the fraction of the cost of a General Counsel, but with an in-house approach; and with the suite of expertise of a law firm, but without the hourly billing, they found Source Legal ticked all the boxes.
